7 startups compete at 3rd SevenVentures Pitch to win €7M in TV ads

Seven startups from across the world pitch to win €7 million in television ads at 3rd SevenVentures Pitch Day (7VPD) at NOAH Conference in London. The contest is held, and the ad air time on TVs, will be provided by Germany’s largest TV network corporation and its European media partners.

The group awards €4 million to the 1st winner, €2 million to the 2nd winner and €1 million to the 3rd ! The Public Vote Winner will receive the Pan-European Media Prize which will be awarded the for the first time in the 7VPD history. The European Media Alliance includes TF1 (France), Channel4 (UK), Dogan TV (Turkey), TVN (Poland), Modern Times Group (CEE) and Antenna Group (Greece).

7 consumer startups which made it to the 7VPD at NOAH Conference are:

Flaviar (USA): A spirits tasting club, offers a subscription service that helps members discover new liquor products through sample tasting packs.

GetYou (Israel): It claims to be the first full Social Feedback Platform. GetYou shows you how people truly perceive you, your content and your online persona. The platform aggregates feedback and uses it to create a crowd-sourced profile built for you by others.

SquadRun (India): SquadRun is a mobile marketplace helping businesses outsource micro-tasks that require human intelligence. From the user side, SquadRun is a gamified app that allows anybody with a smartphone to make money on a per task basis.

Roomlr (Netherlands): Roomlr is a global locator for holiday homes and apartments with over 1.4m listings in 30k cities, powered by industry leaders like Flipkey, Housetrip, and HomeAway. Vacationers can filter their search by price, location, and specific amenities.

Cashboard (Germany): Cashboard is the one stop shop for personal investing. We enable retail investors to invest their money themselves online in an easy, secure and reliable manner. Clients get a diversified portfolio including the whole range of traditional (Funds, ETFs, stocks etc.) and modern online investments.

Pico (USA): Pico collects pictures that were taken by your friends during any lifetime occasion into one collaborative, real-time album. Users continue to take pictures with their regular camera application, and Pico does the rest. Private use (collecting pictures to a Facebook Profile) is free, while commercial use is charged by the picture.

Showroom (Poland & CEE): Showroom is the biggest Polish curated marketplace fully focused on independent fashion. We scout the most talented young fashion designers and offer them space to showcase and sell their products on-line. Showroom takes care of marketing, customer service, logistics, payments and PR.
