Mobile ad investments in Europe will jump in Western Europe, with the mobile ad spending per mobile internet user to increase from $21.09 in 2013 to $38.48 and $52.05in 2014 and 2015 respectively, according to the figures shared by eMarketer.
Central and Eastern Europe, where per capita mobile ad spending is already one of the lowest by region in the world, will see a modest rise from $1.16 in 2012 to $1.92 and $2.54 in following years.
In terms of growth, Germany and Nordic countries, who have best resisted to Eurozone crisis so far thanks to their strong finances, will lead Western Europe. Mobile internet ad spendings in Germany will jump by 190% in 2013 and 60% in 2015, whereas the highest growth will be seen in Norway with 200% and 50% respectively.
Southern members of the European Union, on the other hand, will see much slower increase in mobile ad spending. Between 2013 and 2014, the growth will be 80% in Italy, 80% in France and 90% in Spain.
Overall, Western Europe will see mobile ad investments to grow by 118,4 in 2014 and 57.2% in 2015.
