Fashion sites aggregator TheFashion.com raises $1.7M seed funding from NorthEast VC and Danish Growth Fund

TheFashionTheFashion.com has announced the closure of a $1.7 million seed funding round led by Copenhagen-based North East Venture Capital and The Danish Growth Fund. Based in London and Copenhagen, the company plans to use fresh funds in expanding in Northern Europe, primarily to Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands.

Founded in 2013 and launched earlier this year, TheFashion.com brings together online boutiques and fashion stores and lets the customer cross-shop products. Partners of the platform include big regional online retailers like ASOS, Farfetch and TheOutnet as well as several hundred smaller national shops.

The web site has features like real-time inventory updating and machine-learning for customized suggestions. The company has previously raised $400K from Rainmaking,
