Second Pilot raises $350K from the Moscow Seed Fund and Pavel Glushenkov

secondpilot-ruSecond Pilot, a service that offers drivers information about road conditions, has obtained $350K in funding from the Moscow Seed Fund and Pavel Glushenkov, Investment Director at InVenture Partners.

Second Pilot, which claims more than 421K users, offers free apps for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone that enable drivers to warn each other about trouble spots on the road and it allows them to call a tow-truck or fill an insurance claim, if necessary.

There is no word on how the company intends to use this latest round of funding or how much funding they have previously raised.

Moscow Seed Fund, which is the investment tool for the city government of Moscow, has been an active investor over the past few years, backing more than 18 different companies with hundreds of thousands of dollars, with amounts invested in individual projects reaching as much as $300K. In May, InVenture invested $1 million in a Series A for CrowdSystems, a crowdsourced retail-analytics service which previous raised $300K in seed funding from the Moscow Seed Fund last December.
