Nokia X series will hit CEE markets by late April

mobile-world-congressToday at MWC 2014, we met with Sertaç Şener, Nokia’s Head of Marketing, for Central Eastern Europe after the launch of the Nokia X, X+ and XL, the first range of Nokia smartphones using an OS based on open-source Android.

Nokia sees a considerable amount of growth in the entry level smartphone market, Şener says. Nokia’s new devices target at the affordable smartphone segment of the market and will be available on the shelves soon.

Nokia X is planned to be launched by the second half of April priorly in Poland, Turkey and Romania markets while Nokia+ will be coming at the end June.
