Arianna Huffington suggests a third metric to the definition of ‘success’ in digital society

arianna-dld-webrazziIn today’s highly competitive digital environment, with success comes fatigue. Being creative and productive in terms of business and innovation often requires sacrifices, which sadly includes your real-life social communication skills and, even more sadly, your physical health. Is it worth it?

In one of the most anticipated sessions of DLD14 conference held in Munich, Arianna Huffington, the president and editor-in-chief of Huffington Post answers “no” to the question above. In a two-way interview on stage with Paulo Coelho, the author of big time best-seller The Alchemist, Ms. Huffington offers to expand the definition of success which is today often measured by accumulated money and power. As a third metric to the equation, Huffington explains well-being and wisdom from a different perspective. Her new book, the “Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder” will be in stores soon and will tell you more.

In the Webrazzi interview above, Arianna gives hints about her new book and discusses techno-society, as well as Huffington Post’s growth and upcoming projects.
