International audit and management consulting services company Deloitte published its list for Deloitte Technology Fast 500 2012 EMEA Program. There are 29 Turkish companies in the list of 500 companies and two companies from Turkey are in the top 10.
Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA Program covering Europe, Middle East and Africa, is based on the growth rate of net sales of technology, media and telecommunications companies in the last 5 years. Top 10 includes Elkotek as 5. and Tektronik as 6. on the list.
However, what’s more striking is that there are more companies in Turkidh internet industry now. One of them is Ideasoft, which increased its net sales by 2 thousand 246 percent in the last 5 years and at the 53th place in the list. And there is Pozitron; it has made name with mobile applications and increased 956 percent in that period, finding its place at 149th row in the list.
Turkey is the 6th among all EMEA countries
Medianova, which is the 234th on the list with a 618 percent growth, took place on Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Turkey list published last year. Sadece Hosting comes 251st with a 588 percent growth, and PixelPlus Interactive is 452nd with 320 percent growth.
On the other hand, listed Turkish companies include FG DIGITAL Technologies, ODC Business Solutions, Logic IT Systems, Turkcell Technology R&D, Radore, AGC Software, SMARTSOFT, Inspark Smart Business Solutions, P.I.Works, Innova IT Solutions, BILGINET, NATEK BILISIM, Smartiks, Başarsoft, VODASOFT, TURKNET, İDEA TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, BİRCOM, Hitit Computer Services, Elmasepeti, Ekin Technology and Sestek.
Among all countries, Turkish is the 6th on the list. There are 90 companies from France 74 companies from England and 55 companies from Sweden on the list, while 29 companies from Turkey.
Internet market has a 21 percent share
On the list based on categories, we can say that software is highlighted. Software with 40 percent share is followed by internet with 21 percent share. Telecommunications-network has a share of 17 percent, hardware and electronics has 8 percent share, biotechnology-pharmaceuticals -medical equipment has a share of 6 percent, green technologies has a share of 3 percent, and media/entertainment and computer hardware has a share of 1 percent.
