Kimdir.com is a new service by Devrim Demirel’s company BerilTech. Users can share info about themselves on an address with the format name.kimdir.com using the service, while it’s also possible list their social network profiles on the same address.
UPDATE: Devrim Demirel shared some valuable information on this news, saying that Orkun Tekin is the Co-Founder and minority shareholder of Kimdir.com project.
As its model, Kimdir.com is similar to About.me, which was started in September 2010, and acquired by AOL.com in December 2010. The service is closed beta for the time being and only selected people can create their profiles through the service.
I asked for an exclusive invitation from Devrim Demirel for Webrazzi as I wanted to write about the service, but he said it will be possible next week. So, here I want to announce that next week Kimdir.com invitations will be available on Webrazzi, as a first as usual.
Considering that About.me reached 400.000 users in a few months after it went online and had a rapid acquisition, kimdir.com has a similar potential.
Kimdir.com has a very successful interface and other Turkish services should take it example in terms of its usefulness. You can see pages created using Kimdir.com on the service homepage. If you would like to my own page, I should work more on it, but you can still have a look at it on arda.kimdir.com to have an idea.
